Obituary

We sadly announce the passing of our beloved patriarch Roger E. Levesque who passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday November 9, 2025, at the age of 85. For the last 62 years he was the dear husband of his loving wife Emily (Thorne) Levesque.

Born in Van Buren, ME on October 12, 1940, Roger was the son of the late Louis J. and Sadie M. (Dionne) Levesque and proudly served in the US Army, 101st Airborne, during the Vietnam Era. He was active in the Democratic party in Wolcott, serving on the Town Council and was Town Treasurer for many years.

Roger owned and ran several businesses including his construction companies Prefab Building Erectors Inc., Metal Structures, Inc. and Cimbpec, Inc. as Wolcott Mini Storage.

Roger was very active in the community as a member of numerous organizations including: The Masons, The Royal Order of Jesters, The Shriners, the Kaabans Shrine Club, the Wolcott Lions Club, and the American Legion in Wolcott. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards.

Roger and Emily spent many winters at their second home in North Redington, FL where he was also active in the community.

In addition to his devoted wife of over 62 years Emily, left to carry on his legacy are his daughter Luci and her husband Richard Porter, his son John and his wife Carrie Levesque, his two grandchildren Simon and Sophie Levesque, his sisters Rolande Morehouse, Annette Caron, Nora Belanger and Gertrude Levesque as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Norman Levesque and sisters Rita Levesque, Germaine Angel, and Lucille Garcia.
