WOLCOTT ~ Roger H. Gray, Sr., 57, of Wolcott passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Laurieann (Wall) Gray. Roger was born October 25, 1954 in Waterbury, son of the late Claude and Virginia (Worth) Gray, Jr. He was a U.S. Veteran of the Viet Nam War, serving with the U.S. Navy. For many years, he was the owner of Grays Military Surplus Store in Wolcott and enjoyed carpentry and yard work. Currently, he was employed by O.G.S. Capitol Technologies of Cheshire. Besides his wife, Laurieann of 15 years, he leaves his children, Roger H. Gray, Jr. of Battle Creek, Michigan, David M. Gray of Canton, and Jason E. Wall of Saranac Lake, NY, and four grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
