ROBERT L. PULFORD, SR. WOLCOTT ~ Robert L. Pulford, Sr., 79, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8th at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Marie (Lupkas) Pulford. Mr. Pulford was born December 18, 1929 in Waterbury, son of the late Richard and Ann (Luth) Pulford. He retired in 1991 from GTE Sylvania after 25 years of service, and prior employment included 15 years of service at Truelove & Maclean. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Farmingbury Hills Country Club. He enjoyed bowling and was a former member of Perillos Mens Bowling League. He was past president of A.A.R.P. ~ Naugatuck Chapter 495. He enjoyed traveling with Marie and enjoyed their trips to the Casinos. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends. Besides his wife of 61 years, he leaves his sons, Robert Pulford, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Wolcott, Steven Pulford and his wife, Janice of Wolcott, his daughter, Linda Catalina and her husband, James of Wolcott, his brother, Richard and his sister, Beth, and his 6 grandchildren, Brian, Marc, Kristen, Jessica and Kyle Pulford, and Jaime Iorio, all of Wolcott, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Leo the Great Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
