Wolcott Mr. Robert W. Jones, 80, passed away on Friday evening, June 15, at Autumn Lake Health Care in Waterbury. He was the husband of the late Leonieda M. (Bouchard) Jones. Robert was born August 4, 1937 in Waterbury, son of the late Edward S. and Eva (Popovich) Jones. Raised in Waterbury he graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1956 and then went on to serve honorably in the United States Navy. He had been employed as a tool maker, working for Highland Manufacturing, Specialty Packaging and retiring from Eyelet Design. He will be remembered for his love of hunting and fishing. He is survived by two sons, Edward R. Jones of Wolcott and Mark A. Jones and his wife Karla of Wolcott; one daughter, Jennifer St. Hilaire of Wolcott and three grandchildren, Joshua, Adam and Gabrielle. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, at 11:00 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial with full military honors will follow in Woodtick Cemetery.
