WOLCOTT ~ Robert Rene Grenier, 60, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on May 16, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. He currently worked in shipping for Macys Department Store. Robert was born July 13, 1951 in Waterbury, son of the late Raymond and Germaine (Berthiaume) Grenier. For most of his career, he operated heavy machinery for Yankee Gas. Bobs greatest passion in life was his Harley. He loved shooting pool, working on crossword puzzles and most of all being with his family. Many people will remember him for his sarcasm and always giving others a hard time, all in a fun way. He leaves daughter, Alexa Grenier, two sons, Jason and Rj Grenier and daughter in law Kelly Grenier, all of Wolcott, a brother, Ray Grenier of Wolcott, two sisters, Lorraine Shaw and Claire Grenier of Waterbury, his grandchildren, Mya and McKenzie of Wolcott, several nieces and nephews and many good friends. Calling hours will be held Sunday, May 20, at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott, from 3 to 7pm. A service will be held at 6:30pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
