RITA M. MANGINI WATERBURY ~ Rita M. (Morin) (Martone) Mangini, 92 of Waterbury passed away on Saturday, August 22nd at St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Carmine Martone and Anthony F. Mangini. Rita was born August 5, 1917 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Eugene and Claudia (Ouellette) Morin. She retired from St. Marys Hospital in 1981 after 17 years of service. For many years she had been employed at Sts. Peter & Paul Church. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Church and the A.A. R.P. She enjoyed bingo and crossword puzzles. She leaves her sons, Donald Martone and his wife Charlotte of Prospect and Charles and Catherine Martone of Sciota, NY, her brothers, Robert Morin of Waterbury, Leo Morin of Naugatuck, and Ernest Morin of Indianapolis, IN, her sister, Jeannette LaVallee of Waterbury, her grandchildren, Donald (Melissa) Martone, Jr., Marlene (Ronald) Rinaldi, David Martone, Mark (Stacy) Martone, Angela (Michael) Lopaska, John (Karin) Martone, Philip Martone, Lisa (Bob) Baron, Lynn (Gregg) Secula, Dina Shepard and her fiance Craig Kenny, her step grandchildren, Kelly, Kathleen, John, and Matthew Stankes, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and her daughter-in-law, Judy Martone. She was predeceased by her son James. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Leo the Great Church, 14 Bentwood Rd., Waterbury. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Family and friends may call at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott on Monday from 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O.
