RITA P. AMBROSE Wolcott ~ Mrs. Rita P. (Audibert) Ambrose, 91, died Monday evening, September 14th at Wolcott View Manor. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Ambrose. Mrs. Ambrose was born October 17, 1917 in Fort Kent, Maine daughter of the late John and Catherine (Collin) Audibert. She graduated as a hairdresser and cosmetician in Portland, ME, and had retired from U.S. Time in Middlebury after 20 years. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, the Charles Reitdyke Senior Center and was a communicant of St. Pius X Church. She loved playing the piano, crocheting and line dancing. She leaves her daughter, Carol Bianchi and her husband Leo of Waterbury; her son, Arthur A. Ambrose and his wife Mary Ellen of Keller, TX; her sister, Priscilla Ivon of Waterbury; her brothers, Clifford Audibert and his wife Lucille and Lawrence Audibert and his wife Claudette, all of Fort Kent, Maine and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Wolcott View Manor for their caring and kindness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 18th at 10 am at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Friends are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Calling hours are Thursday, September 17th, from 5 to 7 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott.
