He was especially fond of his grandnephew, Benjamin, who was the light of his life. He was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Moffo. He also leaves his brother-in-laws, Charles Aquavia and his wife, Sandra of Naugatuck, Louis Aquavia and his wife, Terri of Woodbury, and Robert Aquavia and his wife, Jo-Ann of Naugatuck and his sister-in-law, Doris Aquavia.
