RICHARD M. LANGDEAU
WOLCOTT ~ Richard M. Langdeau, 43, of Wolcott, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9th in Southington.
Richard was born March 3, 1966, son of Dorothy (Albert) Langdeau and the late Romeo A. Langdeau. He was a Union Sheet Metal Worker and had worked at Yankee Sheet Metal. He also worked with his good friend, Ralph Ciccio. Richard volunteered countless hours for his daughter, Samantha, at Assumption School in Manchester and coached for her soccer team. He made countless donations of food or money to the homeless. Richard loved to play Santa Claus at the holidays and distributed gifts to the mentally challanged. He was a giving neighbor, especially in the winter, plowing their driveways with his quad. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, especially his trips to Laconia and participated in several motorcycle benefits for local charities. Among other interests included camping with his family and friends.
Besides his mother of Wolcott, he leaves his precious daughter, Samantha of Andover, his brothers, Raymond and Thomas Langdeau of Wolcott, William Langdeau of Milldale, and David Langdeau of Waterbury, his sister, Jeannine Williams of Wolcott, several nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend, Terry Crocetto of Wolcott. He was predeceased by his brothers, John, James, Robert and Steven Langdeau.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:45 am from the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm. A Time of Sharing will be held at 7:30 pm.
