Obituary

Richard E. DiPersio Avid outdoorsman WATERBURY- Richard Edward DiPersio, 82, beloved husband of the late Saranne (Richards) DiPersio, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Monday, Oct. 30th, at The Village at East Farms. Richard was born in Wolcott on December 20, 1940, son of the late Vincent and Mary (Gagnon) DiPersio. He was a commercial truck driver and member of UAW union local 677. He retired from Tilcon after working there for over 25 years. Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, gardening, NASCAR and spending time in Vermont. He was a member of Bristol Fish and Game. He could fix anything and would always help friends and family. He had three Bull Dogs that were dear to his heart. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Luanne and her husband Michael Keeman of Waterbury and his grandsons Christopher and Matthew Keeman. Richard will also be deeply missed by his lifelong friends Lawrence and Beverly Medina of Wolcott. In addition to his wife Saranne, Richard was predeceased by his brothers Francis, Louis, and Vincent "Sarge" and his sister Mildred Colo. Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday November 3rd, at 1PM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
