REGINA CARON Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother WATERBURY ~ Regina (LaChance) Caron, 94, of Waterbury passed away on August 13th at Wolcott View Manor surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Valmore Caron. Mrs. Caron was born December 28, 1915 in Frenchville, ME, daughter of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Ouellette) LaChance. She was a life long parishioner of the Shrine of St. Anne Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She served as vice president of the Mothers Club and was a member of the Villa Maria. Mrs. Caron attended the South Waterbury Senior Club and the Prospect Senior Club. She retired after 20 years of service at the Waterbury Club. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed arts and crafts. She leaves her sons, Valmore Caron and his wife, Leslie of Bantam, and Gene Caron and his wife Melissa of Waterbury with whom she made her home, her sisters, Violette Guerrera of Manchester, NH, and Claudette St. Pierre of Waterbury, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her daughter-in-law, Lois Caron of Waterbury. She was predeceased by her sons, George and James. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:45 from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to the Shrine of St. Anne for a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
