OAKVILLE ~ Raymond Lacombe, 79, of Oakville passed away on Monday, February 7th surrounded by his family at Paradigm Healthcare of Waterbury.
Raymond was born February 21, 1931 in Waterbury, son of the late Alfred and Aldea (Gelinas) Lacombe. He retired from Torrington Supply after 40 years of service. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling to Canada and Florida. Raymond was devoted to his many nieces and nephews. He was a parishioner of the Shrine of St. Anne.
He leaves his brothers, Maurice Lacombe of Oakville, Roger Lacombe and his wife, Rita of Venice FL, Charles Lacombe and his wife, Carolyn of Bristol, and Rene Lacombe and his wife, Lina of Northport, FL; his sisters, Cecile Soucy and her husband, Percy of Waterbury, Lillian Orzell and her husband, Stanley of Bristol and Irene Lacombe of Oakville; and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 am at the Shrine of St. Anne, 515 South Main St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church.
