Waterbury Phyllis J. Rodrigue, 81, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jean P. Rodrigue. Phyllis was born in High Gate Springs, VT on February 1, 1940, daughter of the late Lionel and Cecile (Labrie) Brier. Phyllis was a member of St. Aloysius. She worked as a home health aide for the VNA for 35 years. She enjoyed motorcycle vacations with her husband and their trips to Canada; shopping; and spending time with her granddaughters. Phyllis leaves behind her daughters, Ann Marie Sommo, and her husband, Christopher; and Annette Barrett, and her husband, Steven; her granddaughters, Alyssa and Juliet Barrett; her brother, George Brier, and his wife, Bonnie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Including her husband, Jean, Phyllis was predeceased by her son, John Rodrigue; and her sister, Pauline Schmidt, and her husband, Joseph. A funeral home service will be held on Monday September 13 at 12:30 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
