Wolcott- Mrs. Phyllis T. (Mancini) Normand, 76, died Thursday, August 14, at her home. She was the wife of Raymond Normand. Mrs. Normand was born August 6, 1938 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Donato and Josephine Mancini. Raised in Waterbury she was a graduate of Webster Grammar School and Wilby High School. She had retired from CL&P after thirteen years. Mrs. Normand enjoyed her daily soap operas, was an avid reader, found joy in helping family members and will be remembered for her cheesecakes. In addition to her husband of 44 years she is survived by her daughter, Kathy Rocca and her husband Jay of Wolcott; two sisters, Mary Mancini of Waterbury and Madeline Migliaro of Wolcott; two grandsons, Mitchell and Andrew Rocca and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers. Arrangements: A calling hour will be held on Monday morning, August 18, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Committal prayers will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
