OBITUARY PHILIP R. GUERTIN Waterbury: Philip R. Guertin, 68, of Mulloy Rd., died Wednesday, January 9th at the AvonHealthCenter. He was the husband of Mildred (Dews) Guertin. Mr. Guertin was born August 27, 1939 in Waterbury, son of the late Philip E. and Adela (Vaicaitis) Guertin. For many years, he worked as a car dealer in the Waterbury area. Besides his wife of forty five years, he is survived by four sons Philip R. Guertin, Jr. and Steven A. Guertin both of Waterbury, Mark T. Guertin of Plainville and Jeffrey D. Guertin and his wife Cheri of Oakville, a daughter Pamela McDermott and her husband Charles of Terryville, a brother Robert Guertin of Wolcott, three sisters Judith Lucier of Plainville, Sharon Deschenes and Linette DeLeo both of Wolcott, and four grandchildren Kevin and Kathryn McDermott, and Jacob and Joshua Guertin. Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 7:30 at the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Friday from 5 pm until the time of the service.
