Waterbury Philip G. Becker, Sr., 85, of Waterbury, passed away on June 6, 2020 at Middlesex Hospital. He was the loving husband of 60 years to Barbara (Boisvert) Becker. Philip was born on December 12, 1934 in Waterbury, son of the late Andrew and Hermine (Mohr) Becker. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Croft High School in Waterbury. Philip also served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. Philip worked for Anco Tool and Braxton Manufacturing in Oakville. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan; he loved spending time with his family, friends and his faithful dog, Pita. Besides his wife Barbara, Philip is survived by his son Philip G. Becker, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Guilford, Lori Becker Rubbo and her husband Dan of Colchester, and Beth Becker Barlow and her husband Mark of Terryville; four grandchildren, Alexandra Becker, BriAnna and Alyssa Rubbo, and Joseph Barlow; his brother, Robert Becker, Sr. of Wolcott; numerous nieces and nephews; and his close family friend, Nicole Ibrus.
