WOLCOTT ~ Peter Alan Lamontagne, 55, of Wolcott passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Marion Bullis-Lamontagne. Pete was born June 20, 1956 in Waterbury, son of Irene (Carpentier) and the late Joseph G. Lamontagne. He retired from Loehmann-Blasius after many years of service. Pete enjoyed all outside activities, including camping, hiking, and fishing. He loved family gatherings and picnics. Pete had a passion for automobiles, from selling them to fixing them, as well as complete knowledge about each make and model. Besides his mother of Waterbury, he leaves his wife, Marion of 30 years, his children, Joelle Lamontagne and her husband, Hector Medina of Waterbury, and Peter Jude Lamontagne of Wolcott, his sister, Jeannette Tapper of Waterbury, his brother, Joseph J. Lamontagne of Cheshire, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:15 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Francis Xavier Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will be held from 8:15 am until 9:15 am at the funeral home.
