Wolcott Peter G. Churchelow Jr., 63, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, after a long illness. Peter was born in Waterbury, son of the late Peter and Julia (LeMay) Churchelow. He lived most of his life in Wolcott, and was known by many when he used to walk the streets collecting cans. Peter is survived by his brothers, Thomas and George Churchelow, of Wolcott; and John Scheidel, of Chicago; his sisters, Eva Magaraci, and her husband, Robert; and MaryAnn Lane, and her husband, EJ, all of Wolcott; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 11 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Burial will be held privately.
