PEGGY D. NORMANDIN WATERBURY ~ Peggy D. (Wiggins) Normandin, 74, of Waterbury entered into eternal life on Monday, November 24 surrounded by her loving family at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Andre Normandin. Peggy was born March 29, 1934 in Ft. Benning, GA, daughter of the late Conrad and Nora (OHara) Wiggins. She was member of the Shrine of St. Anne Church, the choir and Sister Yvonnes Workshop. She had been employed at Sherwood Medical, but her real lifes work was her family. She was a beautiful person with a heart of gold. She loved to birdwatch and tell stories about her trip to Europe this past spring. We will miss her patience and kind nature, but we will never forget how she has touched each one of us. Besides her husband of 55 years, she leaves her brother, Bill Wiggins and his wife Sue of Abilene, TX, children Valerie Conway and her husband Bill of Texas, Pamela Roberts of Waterbury, Jeffrey Normandin and his wife Renee of Waterbury, and Lisa Krewson of Waterbury, her grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrea, Jessie, Sarah, Stephen, Elizabeth, Crystal, Heather, Amy, Jeffrey, Andre, Marco, Mateo, and ten great-grandchildren. She is also predeceased by two daughters, Ann Marie and Andrea Jean Normandin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 8:30 from the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to the Shrine of St. Anne for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 pm.
