WOLCOTT ~ Pauline M. (McLean) Neidt, 80, of Wolcott passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Wolcott View Manor surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Soren "Bill" Neidt, Jr. Pauline was born September 16, 1932 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Akerley) McLean. She was employed most of her life as an Administrative Assistant for local companies. Pauline was an amateur artist, specializing in acrylics and an avid crafter. She enjoyed gardening and having tea with "The Girls". She was a former member of the Farmingbury Womans Club. Besides her husband of 61 years, she leaves her children, Sharon Skrip and her husband, George of Naugatuck, Scott Neidt and his wife, Colleen of Thomaston, and Rusty Neidt of Wolcott, her grandchildren, Vanessa Free and her husband, Chris, Taylor Haynes, Heather and Cassandra Neidt, her great grandchildren, Savannah, Tabitha and Christopher Free, several nieces, nephews, and her faithful companion, Jake. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott from 5 to 8 pm with a funeral service during the visitation. Burial will be private.
