PAULINE C. MARONEY PORTLAND ~ Pauline C. (Bienvenue) Maroney, 79, of Portland passed away on July 30th at Middlesex Hospital. She was the widow of Carl Maroney. Pauline was born May 6, 1930 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Romeo and Juliette (Archambault) Bienvenue. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and entered the Monastery of Our Lady of Grace as Sister Agnes for 10 years. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, writing, music and being with family and friends. She leaves her sisters, Lucille Messer of Wolcott and Loretta Barry of Waterbury, her brother, Richard Bienvenue of South Wellfleet, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Andre. Funeral services will be held today at 10 am at St. Leo the Great Church. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Scholarship Fund of Our Ladys Guild of The Church of St. Leo the Great, 14 Bentwood Dr., Waterbury, CT 06705.
