Wolcott - Mr. Paul E. Trepanier, 86, of Wolcott, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Hill) Trepanier. Paul was born on December 17, 1929 in St. Stanislaus, P.Q., Canada, son of the late Lucien and Antoinette (Chateauneaut) Trepanier. Paul worked for the Scovill Manufacturing Co. and Century Brass for over 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed watching hockey and baseball; and playing cards at the Wolcott Senior Center. Paul is survived by his companion Germaine Mattrella with whom he lived, of Wolcott; three nieces Pierrette Muccino, Francine Hill, both of Waterbury, and Linda Hill of Wolcott; his nephew Gary Hill and his wife Traci of Oakville, one grandniece; and several grand nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Francois Roberge, Therese Jolicoeur, and Germaine Lacerte; and two nephews, Robert Hill, and Richard Hill. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 20 at 9:30 A.M. at The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 W Main St, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
