Wolcott Paul Charles Clement, 79, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was the loving husband of Doris (Beaudoin) (Christiano) Clement. Paul was born in March 26, 1939 in Waterbury, son of the late Leo and Leonette (Normandin) Clement. He graduated from Leavenworth High School. Paul served honorably in the United States Navy and was a longtime communicant of St. Pius X Church. He enjoyed movies, going out to eat with his best friends Anthony and Lorna Martone and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and UConn Huskies fan. Paul also loved to travel to Myrtle Beach. He was a chef most of his life and Loved cooking for his family and friends. He also owned part of American Steakhouse in Waterbury. Besides his devoted wife Doris, Paul is survived by five sons, Mark Clement of Torrington, Alan Clement and wife Shirley of Bethany, Ryan Clement of Florida, Brandon Clement, and James Clement of Wolcott; three daughters, Deborah Mastriani and husband Jay of Southbury, Paula Brazdzionis of Prospect and Lynn Mancini and husband Daniel of Watertown; his stepson, Norman Christiano; two brothers Robert Clement and wife Ginette of Goshen, and Raymond Clement and wife Theresa of Middlebury; his special sister-in-law Maria Clement; sister-in-law Nancy Clement; brother in law Brian Normandin,; 20 grandchildren including Robert Anderson who lived with Paul his entire life and was a big help with his Pepe; 9 great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; He was predeceased by his grandson Jason Mastriani; his son-in-law Al Brazdzionis; his stepson, Charles Christiano; and his step-grandson, Charles Christiano III. Also predeceased by four brothers Dennis, Richard, Gilbert and Ronald and two sisters Patricia Clement and Joan Normandin Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd. Burial will follow in Woodtick Cemetery.
