PAUL D. CASTONGUAY
WOLCOTT ~ Paul D. Castonguay, of Wolcott passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 5th. He was the husband of Patricia (Balasky) Castonguay.
Mr. Castonguay was born to the late Auguste D. and Madeline (Lacey) Castonguay. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and received a B.A. in business from Quinnipiac University. He served with the U.S. Army during peacetime. He retired from Commercial Union Insurance Companies after 30 years of service. Mr. Castonguay was a communicant of St. Pius X Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter, Susan Crook of Portsmouth, RI, his son, Thomas Castonguay and his wife, Kristen of Waterbury, his grandson, Eli Jude Castonguay, his brother-in-law, Robert Turner and his wife, Doris of St. Simons Island, GA, and many nieces and nephews, including Steven Turner of Atlanta, GA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 8th at 10 am at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Woodtick Memorial has been entrusted with his arrangements.
