Clearwater, FL. - Our beautiful mother, Patricia J. Varlese, 91, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 27, 2022. She was born in Danbury, CT to John and Alice Burke (Hogan) on May 23, 1931 and raised her family in Wolcott, CT. She resided in both CT and Clearwater, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul R. Varlese along with her son Joseph. She is survived by her five children, Paul J. Varlese, John B. Varlese, Mark A. Varlese, Anne E. Whelan, and Lynne M. Varlese. Our mom will be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. An avid picture taker, she spent many hours scrapbooking and organizing her photo albums. Always a happy and loving soul, she enjoyed watching the Florida sunsets with her daughters. She has her angel wings and is now a free spirit. Visitation is on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 8:30 to 10:00 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
