WOLCOTT ~ Normalee (Walters) DiVito, 84, of Wolcott , passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at St, Marys Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of James DiVito. Mrs. DiVito was born January 20, 1927 in Voca, TX, daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Collins) Walters. She lived in Brady, Texas until 1945 where she married her loving husband, James and then moved to Waterbury. Mrs. DiVito retired from the Naugatuck Rubber Co. after 18 years of service. She was an active member of the Church of Christ for over 38 years and religiously attended the Ladies Bible Class. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening and decoupage. Besides her husband, James of 65 years, she leaves her daughter, Kathleen Sanzone and her husband, Ronald of Bristol, her grandchildren, James Sanzone of Wolcott, Todd, Jeremy, Tiffany, and Christy Sanzone of Bristol, and ten grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday at 10 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
