WATERBURY - Ms. Christina Michelle Shaker, 52, of Waterbury, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 after a short illness. Christina was born in Waterbury on June 15, 1961, loving daughter of Mr. Michael J. Shaker, Sr., and the late Frida (Cory) Shaker. She had a wonderful flair for design, a loving devotion for her family and friends; especially for her life-long friend Maryanne Grubaugh and a deep affection for her two cats. Christina was the sister of the late Susan Beth Shaker. Besides her father, Christina is survived by her brother, Michael J. Shaker Jr. of Naugatuck; her step mother, Sharon Shaker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. All services will be private.
