SOUTHINGTON ~Wendy Marie Pilloise RN, 48, of Southington, was taken by the hand of an angel on Thursday, July 14, 2011. She was the wife to Joseph Pilloise. Wendy was born December 3, 1962 in Bristol, daughter of John and Elizabeth (McIntyre) Pagliarulo. She enjoyed bowling at Wolcott lanes with friends. She cherished life and lived it well with her family and friends. She will be most remembered for her smile, laugh, and love of people as she always surrounded herself with others. She prided herself as a director of nurses for many local nursing homes, most recently Beacon Brooke in Naugatuck. Wendy will be missed by her beloved husband, Joseph, her two sons, Ray "R.J." Desrochers and his wife Naomi of Wolcott, Justin Pilloise of Southington, a daughter, Danielle Pilloise of Southington, sisters, Kit Coupland of Bethlehem, Pat Marino of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held during that time with a time to be announced at the funeral home. Woodtick Memorial funeral home, 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott, has care of the arrangements. Burial will be private.
