Prospect Mrs. Susan (Scott) Snyder, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 22, at St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Robert F. "Bob" Snyder. Susan was born January 6, 1947 in the Bronx, New York, daughter of the late Richard and Joan (Fanning) Scott. Raised in Prospect and Naugatuck she attended local schools and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. Class of 1964. Susan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, she attended as many of their activities as she could. She was a strong, supportive and loving Mother who raised her daughters with pride. She touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by four daughters, Christine Pelkey and her husband James of Portland, Diane Tatham of Prospect, Michelle Quinn and her boyfriend Dennis Firmani of Wolcott and Kathryn Wagner and her husband Kevin of Wolcott; her grandchildren, Jessica Innes, Danielle Tatham, Kevin Quinn, Kelly Quinn, Matthew Wagner, Jake Wagner and Emily Wagner; her brother-in-laws "Sons", Roger Snyder and his wife Julie of OH and Charles Snyder and his wife Laurie of Waterbury; her Aunt and beat friend, Alice Kennedy of Naugatuck; several nieces and nephews and her dog Frankie. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 27, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Woodtick Memorial Funeral Home 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony Church, Union City Rd. Prospect. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
