Wolcott- Stella Dorothy Buselli age 100 years old died peacefully on April 15 at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. Stella was born April 4, 1915 in Scranton, Pennsylvania and relocated to Wolcott, Connecticut in 1955. She is predeceased by one son Mario Francis Buselli and her husband of more than 60 years Mario A. Buselli, a Waterbury businessman and co-founder of MarVic Cleaners Inc.
Her survivors include: her son Victor J. Buselli, wife Kathryn, their daughters Julie and Marcy and their two children Sidney and Abigail respectively; her son Frank M. Buselli Esq., his wife Pamela Sue and their children Dr. James Buselli, Breckenridge Buselli, and Lisa Robbins.
In addition to raising their two sons and working as secretary treasurer in the family business, Stella was, for many years, an active volunteer for The Boy Scouts of America Troop #42 while residing in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She later, while living in Wolcott, became an avid square dancer and instructor.
Stellas final goal was to "make it to the century mark" and to visit with her recently born great-grandchildren. She loved life and especially enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun where she would often be found at the Bingo tables.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 10:30 A.M. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Friends may call at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. from 9:00 A.M. until time to leave for mass at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Wolcott.
