Phyllis M. (Cibelli) Jones, 74, of Wolcott, CT passed away on Thursday June 25th surrounded by her family. She was the daughter ofthe late Domenic and Maria (Musco) Cibelli, husband ofArthur G. Jones and loving mother of Heather Jones of Wolcott. She graduated from WilbyHigh School in Waterbury and attended UCONN. Phyl was employed by the Wolcott school system,for the last21 yearsasthe Educational Secretary for the Nurse's office at Wolcott High School. She was charismatic and never seen without a smile. She was kind, generous with her time and above all loved her job. She treasured her relationships with the students and her co-workers. She refused to retire! She was an avid animal lover and always had at least two rescue 'fur babies'. She is survived by Art, her husband of 45 years, her daughter Heather, her sister Anna Cibelli of Waterbury and her brother Domenic (Mickey) Cibelli of Lexington, So. Carolina. She was predeceased by her brother Alphonse Cibelli. She was the heart and soul of her entire family including herniece Deborah Cibelli of No. Branford, nephew Domenic (Mickey) Cibelli of Wolcott, niece Jennifer Cibelli of So. Carolina and six grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at Woodtick Memorial at 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott on Monday, June 29th from 4-8 PM. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to the SPCA of Connecticut on behalf of Phyllis M. Jones.
