Beacon Falls - Mrs. Noella (Cormier) Stawski, 88, of Beacon Falls, passed away on Friday, August 15 at her home. She was the widow of Mr. Theodore "Ted" Stawski. Noella was born on December 25, 1925 in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of the late Ovila and Rose (Goulet) Cormier. She worked as an assembler at the Scovill Manufacturing Co. and retired in 1989 after 39 years of service. Noella was a member of St. Michaels Church in Beacon Falls for a number of years. She loved knitting, crocheting and sewing. Noella is survived by her brother, Roland Cormier of Panama City, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Michaels Church, 25 Maple Ave, Beacon Falls. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening, August 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott.
