Stamford - Mrs. Marie Jeanne (Landry) Dupuis, 91, of Stamford, formally of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Stamford Hospital. She was the widow of Mr. Robert J. Dupuis. Marie was born on May 14, 1923 in Acton Vale, Canada, daughter of the late Telesphore and Arzelia (Lajoie) Landry. She retired from the City of Waterbury as a telephone operator after 25 years of service and was a long time communicant of the Shrine of St. Anne in Waterbury. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Annes, enjoyed quilting and cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving family. She is survived by her son, Richard Dupuis and his wife, Carin, of Stamford; two granddaughters, Nicole and Danielle Dupuis; two grandsons, Kenneth Dupuis and his wife, Tara, and Robert Dupuis; and two great-grandchildren, Julian and Calvin Dupuis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Prayers of committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
