Waterbury - Mrs. Marie R. (Tegolini) Cooper, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, at her home. She was the wife of Jesse G. Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was born February 18, 1938 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Archangelo and Mary (Longo) (Tegolini) Gugliotti. Marie was a 25 year employee of the City of Waterbury, working in food service at Crosby High School, retiring in March of 2009. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Lee Cooper of Morris and Randy Cooper of Waterbury; two daughters, Linda Cooper of Wolcott and Karen Cooper Tripp of Waterbury; one brother, Anthony Tegolini of Watertown; three sisters, Dolores Reopelle of Wolcott, Bernice Robinson of Cheshire and Vera Carangelo of Wolcott; five grandchildren, Ann, Jesse, Trisha, Kayla and Mary Grace and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-father, Donato Gugliotti and her sister, Mary Fabiani. Arrangements: A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 10, at 9:00 A.M. at the New Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery office.
