Wolcott - Mrs. Jacqueline Mary (Michaud) Tedesco, 75 of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014. She was the widow of Ernest "Ted" Tedesco. Jackie was born March 11, 1939 in Waterbury to the late Hazel (Carroll) and Onesime Michaud of Oakville. She leaves behind her sister, Johanne Duren of Oakville; sister-in-law Ginny Mackie of Waterbury; her son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Robin Tedesco of Wolcott; grandchildren, Amy Tedesco (Mark DeFusco) of Hartford; Rebecca (Chuck) Bailey of Bristol, K.J. Tedesco of Wolcott; great-granddaughter Heileigh Waldron of Bristol; and several god children, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Terri-Lyn Tedesco, and her sister, Charlene Foley. Jackie loved family gatherings and going to lunch with her girlfriends. Jackie worked as a teachers aide in the Wolcott school system, a job she loved. The family would like to thank The Village at East Farms in Waterbury and the Highland Health Care facilities for all the care and comfort for Jackie. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the start of service at Noon.
