Wolcott - Gladys M. Mullen, 78, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. She was the beloved wife of James J. Mullen. Gladys was born in Colon, Panama, on April 25, 1938. She married the love of her life, Jim, on January 11, 1958. Gladys will always be remembered for her fried chicken she had made at parties for the "kids." Including her husband, Jim, of 59 years, Gladys is survived by her son, Gary J. Mullen; her surrogate daughter, Susan Mulcahy; several nieces and nephews in Maine; and her granddogs, Chapps and Max. A Special Thank-you to Kathy Murphy and all the Nurses and Doctors in the CV Unit at St. Mary's Hospital A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Wolcott Dog Pound, 225 Nichols Road, Wolcott CT 06716.
