Wolcott - Mrs. Georgette J. (Cordeau) Ouellette, 83, of Wolcott, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Marys Hospital. She was the loving wife of Mr. Robert E. Ouellette. Georgette was born on November 20, 1932 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Armand and Yvonne (Dechenes) Cordeau. She was a longtime communicant of St. Pius X Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild, Rosary Society and Choir. Georgette enjoyed quilling art. Besides her husband Robert, Georgette is survived by three children, David Ouellette and his wife Mary of North Carolina, Louise Byron of Naugatuck, and Daniel Ouellette and his wife Karen of Waterbury; and four grandchildren, Jordan Byron and his wife Kelly, Emily Byron, Lucien Ouellette, and Thomas Ouellette. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Thomas Byron. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
