Wolcott Edwina P. Lago, 83, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019. She was the loving wife of the late John Lago. Edwina was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on February 12, 1936 to Edward and Annabelle (Butler) Boulier. She worked for Unisys Corp. in Waterbury for many years and was a lifelong member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Waterbury. She enjoyed crafting and sharing her many photos with friends and family. Edwina had so much love for her family and friends and had a way of making everyone feel special, she was like a second mom to everyone. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Donald Lago and his wife, Christina; David Lago and his wife, Andrea; her brother, Winston Boulier and wife Elenore; her grandchildren Austin, John, Michael and Billy; a few nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Including her husband, John, Edwina was predeceased by her siblings, Carolyn Bedat and Johnny Boulier. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Family and friends may begin arriving at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
