Waterbury - Dolores D. Pelletier, 88, passed away on January 7, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Adam C. Pelletier.
Mrs. Pelletier was born on October 20, 1928 in Eagle Lake, Maine, to the late John Baptiste and Delina (Russel) Charette. At the age of 17, she moved to Waterbury, where she met Adam and they were married in 1947. Mrs. Pelletier enjoyed playing bingo at St. Annes and St. Francis Church. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Pelletier is survived by her son, Lee Pelletier, of E. Hartford; her brothers, Joseph Charette; and John Charette, both of Maine; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Including her husband, Adam, she was predeceased by 6 sons, Paul, Richard, Gene, George; John; and Neal Pelletier; her only daughter, Dale Crowley; and many siblings.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 12, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier, 625 Baldwin St., Waterbury. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
