WATERBURY- Barbara May (Waugh) Morin, 88, of Waterbury passed away on January 24, 2013 at her home while surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Hollis Morin. Barbara was born January 4, 1925 in Derby, CT daughter of the late Burton and Ruth (Bristol) Waugh. She attended Bunker Hill Grammar School and Levenworth High School in Waterbury where she graduated salutatorian of the class of 1942. She raised nine children and later worked for Timex Inc in Watertown and then for the City of Waterbury, Water Department as a quality inspector. She was a communicant of SS Peter and Paul Church for many years. She is survived by sons, Robert of Southington, David of South Carolina, Charles and James both of Waterbury, daughters, Judith Sockwell, Mary Christenson both of Waterbury, twelve grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by two sons, Richard and John, a daughter, Holly Payne and a brother Fred Waugh. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 at SS Peter and Paul Church.
