Wolcott Mr. Thomas John Jablonski, 82, of Wolcott, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 5, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of the late Lucille A. (Pennisilico) Jablonski. Thomas was born on December 27, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Leo and Clara Jablonski. He worked at Schick Safety Razor in Wolcott and as a computer operator at Timex in Middlebury for a number of years. Tom enjoyed playing cards with friends, target shooting, reading mysteries, visiting the Senior Center and spending time with his family. He was an active communicant of St. Pius X Church in Wolcott and longtime participant in a RENEW bible group. He served on numerous picnic and fair committees and as principal of Catechism classes. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Catherine Plona and her husband Bryan of Wolcott; and four grandchildren, J.T., Nathan, Liana, and Ian. He was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Jablonski. Family and friends may call on Monday, April 10, 2017, from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Toms name to The Wolcott Public Library, The Animal Rescue Foundation Inc. of Terryville, or the American Cancer Society.
