Naugatuck - Ronald Beaudoin, 75, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017, at Apple Rehab in Watertown.
Mr. Beaudoin was born on May 11, 1941 in Saint Lazare, Quebec, Canada, to the late Henri and Rose (Bernier) Beaudoin. Mr. Beaudoin was a very active man and a jack of all trades. He moved to Waterbury in his 20s and began a vinyl siding business with his brother, which they ran for years. Later, he went on to work as a carpenter for Williams Scotsman, in Cheshire, where he retired from. Ronnys hobbies included hockey in his early years, his famous 4th of July parties, pig roasts, fishing, and snowmobiling at his cottage in Lake Winnemaug. He genuinely loved having the company of his friends and family who meant the world to him.
Mr. Beaudoin is survived by the love of his life for 36 years, Elza Aubin; his son, Robert Aubin, and his wife, Tracy; his daughter, Patricia Ehrler, and her husband, Chuck; his brothers, Onil Beaudoin; Harmel Beaudoin; and Paul Beaudoin; his sisters, Diane; and Claudette; his grandchildren, John Maleto; Danielle Vitale; and Amber Aubin; his 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and extended family.
He was predeceased by his brother, Guy Beaudoin.
Calling hours will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, January 6, at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral home service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be held privately.
