Coral Springs, FL - Mr. Robert J. Heidkamp, 83, formerly of Wolcott, died Friday, February 7, at the University Hospital in Coral Springs. He was the husband of the late Elaine (Neagle) Heidkamp. Mr. Heidkamp was born December 14, 1930 in Waterbury, son of the late William and Bertha (Murphy) Heidkamp. He had retired as a manger from Anaconda American Brass and had served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had moved to Coral Springs over eight years ago, was an avid reader and enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. He is survived by three sons, Robert Heidkamp of Oakville, Gregory Heidkamp and his wife Wendy of Coral Springs and Christopher Heidkamp of Coral Springs; his daughter, Marianne Honow and her husband Thorsten of Germany and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Matthew. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 11, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
