Wolcott Nazaire Joseph Lang, 76, of Wolcott, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Marys Hospital. He was the loving husband of Mrs. Ginette (Dionne) Lang. Nazaire was born on March 8, 1941 in New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Albert and Valeda (Ouelette) Lang. Nazaire worked as a Carpenter with Local 210 and Local 24 Carpenters Union since 1965. He was also very active in the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Pius X Church in Wolcott for a number of years. Nazaire loved helping others, traveling, family gatherings, and cherished the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. He was a true inspiration and mentor to many. Besides his wife, Nazaire is survived by his four children, Danny Lang and his wife Karen, Andrew Lang and his wife Kathie, Lynn Daddona and her husband Tom, and Kathy Swirski and her husband Stephen; 11 grandchildren, Damian, Danelle, Marisa, Nicole, Andrew, Ryan, Tommy Jr, Kyle, Joey, Micheal, and Kaila; nine great-grandchildren, and several brothers-in-laws, sister-in-laws, aunts, cousins, and family members. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Marys Hospital, especially the 3rd floor and VITAS staff, who provided tremendous care during his time of need. Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 6, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
