Bantam Michael M. Moskaluk, 100, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018. He was the husband of the late Mary (Cofrancesco) Moskaluk. Michael was born and raised in Thomaston, son of Alexander and Maria (Marya) Moskaluk. He lived most of his life in Waterbury where he worked in manufacturing for many years before opening up his own business. He was a great writer, writing many letters to his loved ones. He also enjoyed reading and fishing. Michael is survived by his daughter, Doris Mormile, and her husband, Edmund, of Madison; his granddaughters, Maria Mormile , and her husband, Mark; and Dana Cubanski; his great-granddaughter, Hailey Lynne; and other extended family. Including his wife, Mary, Michael is predeceased by his son, Michael R. Moskaluk; his brothers, Peter, Joseph, John, and William Moskaluk; and his sisters, Ann Vita; Catherine Bonocascio; and Julia Breckman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 31, with a calling hour from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, proceeding to St. Lucy Church, 24 Branch Street, Waterbury for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.
