Wolcott- John (Not Bad) Lago, 87, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Edwina (Boulier) Lago. John was born on July 22, 1929, in Waterbury, CT, to the late Anthony and Angie (Pivirotto) Lago. His two greatest loves were his grandchildren and his Can-Am Spyder. He worked his entire career as a mason and was with the Connecticut Bricklayer Local 1 for over 50 years. Including his wife, Edwina, John is survived by his 3 sons, William Lago, and his wife, Karen; Donald Lago, and his wife, Christina; and David Lago, and his wife, Andrea; his brother, Vincent Lago; his grandchildren, Billy; Michael; John; and Austin Lago; and extended family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral home service will be held on Friday, March 24 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
