WOLCOTT - Mr. Francis John Forgione , age 92, of Todd Rd., died at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband to Eleanor (Katerra) Forgione until her passing in 2006. Born in Waterbury on July 29, 1919 Frank was the son of the late John and Anne Diorio Forgione. He attended Tinker Elementary and was a graduate from Leavenworth High, Class of 1938. He worked for a short time at Waterbury Tool and then Henderson Brothers for thirty five years before he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his family, he liked to go fishing and most recently, watched old western movies. Francis is survived by his son, Robert Forgione, a daughter, Francine Forgione both of Wolcott, his sisters Anne Amodeo of Waterbury, Rose Holicks of Indiana and many nieces and nephews. He was predecease by his brother Carl. Friends and Family are asked to gather on Saturday from 7:30 am to 8:30 am at Woodtick Memorial. There will be a Mass at St. Pius X Church at 9:00am. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Wolcott.
