Waterbury Daniel W. Ferraro, 72, passed away on Saturday, September 09, 2017. Dan was born in Waterbury on December 4, 1944 to the late William and Carmella (Perigini) Ferraro. He proudly served his country in the Marines. He worked for many years as a partner with Carl Begley, in C & D Construction, in Wolcott. Dan also flipped houses, and built many houses in various towns. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, trips to Block Island, and spending time with his Boxer, Lucky. Dan is survived by his brothers, William Ferraro, of W. Palm Beach, Fl; and John Ferraro, of Port, St. Lucie, Fl; his true friend and caregiver, Bernard Cantillion; his friend, George Carey, whom he has known since the 1950s and remained close throughout; his dearest friend, Carl Begley; his cousin, Rose Semeraro, and her husband, Tom; his aunt, Elsie Ferraro; and numerous other cousins, and extended family. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 14 at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury. Military honors will follow. Please meet directly at church.
