Wolcott - Mr. Cary P. McNally, 70, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Mrs. Dorothea (Marotto) McNally. Cary was born on September 10, 1946 in Sherman, Maine, son of the late Clayton Lee McNally and Helen Mabel Perry. Cary served honorably in the United States Air Force. He worked in various positions in the manufacturing field and later was employed in the Wolcott Public School system until his retirement. Cary was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and camping. He was also a lover of music and movies. More than anything he cherished the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. Besides his wife, Dorothea, Cary is survived by his son, Cary R. McNally of Plainville; two step children, James Rickevicius and his wife Kim of East Granby, and Melissa Turlis and her husband Matt of Wallingford; seven grandchildren; three siblings, Annette DiPerno and her husband Frank of California, Clayton McNally and his wife Betsy of Granby, and Albert McNally and his wife Linda of Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his first wife, Susan (Hunter) Larson. Family and friends may call on Friday, November 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Carys name to the American Stroke Association at www.strokeassociation.org
