Obituary

Bruce LeMay, 65, of Oakville, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015. He was the loving husband of Lorraine (Brisson) LeMay. Bruce was born in Bristol, CT to the late Edward and Juliette (Faucher) LeMay. Bruce proudly served his country in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded The Infantry Combat Medal. He was member of VFW Oakville Post 7330. Bruce enjoyed bowling, fishing, and was also an avid sports enthusiast; a die-hard fan of The New England Patriots and The New York Mets. His greatest loves were his wife, his children, and his grandson. Besides his wife Lorraine, Bruce is survived by his son, Chad LeMay and his wife Ashley and their son Brysen of Oakville; his daughters, Chantelle LeMay, and her fianc John Ryan, of Waterbury; and Janelle LeMay, of Oakville; his brothers, Curtis LeMay, of Bristol; and Jeffrey LeMay, of Middletown; his sisters, Karen Pelletier, of AZ; Roxanne Nelson, of VT; and Anna Marie Duncan, of AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 30 at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery will full military honors. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church.
